But What Do I Love?

How often do you worry about if you really want or should be a writer?

How often are your thoughts about that running in circles?

It can be super hard to find out what we really want to do with our lives. To judge, if what we want to do comes from our inner truth or from some outer desire that is not really ours.

This might help you find something out about yourself:

If you do what you love, this happens:

  • your breath is calm and steady
  • you feel relaxed
  • things come easy
  • you forget your thoughts (sometimes at least)
  • having done it feels like a blessing

If you do something you don’t love, this might happen:

  • your breath is tight, short, rapid
  • your body tenses
  • you have to force things
  • your thoughts are running in circles
  • having done the work doesn’t make you feel good

Just observe how your body reacts to what you do. Try out a couple of things. Different things. Give yourself time.

Your truth will reveal itself if you let it. It always does.
