  • Amount of data transferred
  • Message about successful call
  • Browser type and version of the browser
  • Operating system of the user

With this data I cannot find out who you are. It is only used for statistical evaluations (improvement of the website, general user behavior, …).

Personal data: what and what for?

Email address

If you register to receive a newsletter on this site, you must enter your email address and possibly your name. This is based on your consent. You can revoke this consent at any time for the future, but you will then no longer be able to receive a newsletter.

Other personal data

If you buy a product offered on this page, you need to provide more data such as e.g. your full name, your address, etc. as well as payment information such as credit card details.

Without this data, no legally valid contract can be concluded and you cannot use the offer of this website.

Retention period:

The retention period of this data for contract fulfillment is 7 years. I am legally obliged to do so.

AWeber

As a newsletter service provider for shipping and list administrators, I use AWeber (AWeber Communications, 1100 Manor Drive, Chalfont, PA 18914, USA). AWeber is certified with the US Privacy Shield and therefore GDPR compliant.

If you contact me

If you contact me for any kind of inquiries, the amount and type of data that you provide via the respective communication path is entirely up to you. I only store this data for as long as it is necessary to process your request.

Cookies

Cookies are small files that are stored on the user’s device (smartphone, Mac, PC, …) and contain certain information related to the device. They are used e.g. to improve the usability of a website (pre-filled fields in forms, your user account, etc.). They can also collect statistical (non-personal) data in order to analyze how the website is used by visitors and to better adapt the offer to the wishes of the users.

Some of the cookies are deleted after the end of your session, i.e. after you close your Internet browser (so-called session cookies). Other cookies remain on your device and make it possible to recognize your browser the next time you visit us (persistent cookies). Please note that certain cookies are already set when you enter our website.

What types of cookies are used?

  1. Necessary cookies

These cookies are necessary for the operation of this website and for providing of the offer. These include, for example, cookies that allow you to log into your customer account or to add products to your shopping cart.

  1. Analytical / performance cookies

These cookies collect anonymized data about user behavior on our website. They are evaluated by us, for example to improve the experience of our website or our offer and to show you suitable offers.

  1. Functional cookies

We use these cookies for certain functions on our website, for example to suggest a better navigation flow or to show you personalized information relevant to you (for example, “interest-based advertisements”).

  1. Targeting cookies

These cookies record your visit to this website, the pages you have viewed and the links you have clicked on. We may use this information to tailor the content of our website and the advertisements it receives to your interests.

  1. Third party cookies

In order to make this website more interesting for you, we may use cookies from advertising partners. For this purpose, cookies from these partner companies are stored on the memory of your device when you visit our website. These are temporary cookies that are automatically deleted after a certain time. This usually happens after a few days. In some cases, these cookies can remain stored for 24 or more months. These cookies do not contain any personal data. The data collected is only summarized under a pseudonym ID and is never combined with your personal data.

Your browser usually accepts cookies automatically. You can prevent the use of cookies through the settings of your browser. However, you may not be able to use all the functions of our offer. You have to make the cookie settings for each browser and device individually.

Follow the respective links to see how you can make the cookie settings for your browser:

Chrome (https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/61416)

Firefox (https://support.mozilla.org/de/kb/Cookies-blockieren)

Opera (https://support.mozilla.org/de/kb/Cookies-blockieren)

Safari (https://support.apple.com/kb/PH21411?locale=de_DE)

Alternatively, you can control the cookies of many companies via the page http://www.youronlinechoices.com/uk/your-ad-choices/.

Google Analytics

I use the “Google Analytics” analysis service from Google LLC (”Google”), Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”. These are text files that are stored on the user’s computer and enable an analysis of the use of our website. The information generated by the cookie about the use of the website by the user is normally transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

However, if the IP anonymization of the website is activated, the user’s IP address will be shortened beforehand by Google within the European Union or in other signatory states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. The full IP address is only transferred to a Google server in the USA and abbreviated there in exceptional cases.

IP anonymization is active on this website.

Google will use this information on my behalf to evaluate the use of our website by my visitors, to compile them in reports and to provide other services related to website and internet use for me.

The Google “User ID” function allows recurring users of my website to be identified by an ID. Since this ID is not merged with personal data, this does not provide any conclusions about the person who uses the site.

The “Site Search” function from Google allows the search queries of the users of the offer to be tracked on this page. This makes it possible to adapt the offer better to your needs. The search queries are not combined with your personal data and therefore do not provide any information about who you are.

If necessary, the data collected by Google Analytics is linked to third-party tools for analysis purposes. This link may result in the data from Google Analytics being transferred to the third-party server. To ensure data security, I only choose providers who ensure data security in accordance with EU guidelines.

The IP address collected from your browser by Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. As a user, you can prevent the storage of cookies through the settings of your browser. However, we would like to point out that in this case some functions of the offer may not be available or may only be available to a limited extent. You can also prevent Google from collecting and processing your data generated by the cookie (including IP address) in relation to the use of our offer by downloading and installing the plug-in suitable for your browser at the following link:

http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.

You will also find further information on the use of data for advertising purposes by Google, as well as setting and objection options (Google websites):

https://www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy/partners/ (“Use of data by Google when using websites or apps from our partners”), http://www.google.com/policies/technologer to show you advertising ”) and http://www.google.com/ads/preferences/ (“ Determine which advertising Google shows you ”).

Google Remarketing

I use the “Remarketing” or “Similar target groups” function from Google LLC (“Google”), Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA for my offer. This function can target website visitors with advertising when they visit other websites in the Google Display Network. The basis for the creation of these advertisements is the analysis of the use of our website. So-called cookies are used for this.

For more information about cookies in general, please read the “Cookies” section of this document.

These cookies are used to store visits to the website and anonymized data on the use of the website. Personal data are not recorded. If you later visit another website of the Google Display Network, you may be shown advertisements relating to previously viewed products or information.

Advertising Reporting Features

Using Google’s Advertising Reporting Features, target groups created by visiting this website or using the “Similar target groups” function can be used to help you find relevant AdWords advertisements (Google text ads) or shopping ads when searching for certain keywords on Google to show.

Google AdWords conversion tracking

I use the so-called “AdWords Conversion Tracking” from Google LLC (”Google”), Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. This makes it possible to track whether someone who clicked on one of my ads via AdWords or the Google Display Network actually bought something later. The data of the conversion tracking are merged non-personal data of the shop system. Conversion tracking is therefore a purely statistical evaluation.

AdWords Conversion Tracking works through cookies that are placed on your computer when you visit our website.

For more information about cookies in general, please read the “Cookies” section of this document.

Google Data Studio

From time to time I make statistical evaluations and forecasts as a basis for strategic decisions in connection with the offer of this website. For this I use the service “Google Data Studio” from Google LLC (”Google”), Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. The Google Data Studio enables the summarization and visualization of different data, in connection with other Google services or via external data sources. All data that we process with Google Data Studio are of a purely statistical nature. Neither personal data are processed, nor are anonymized or pseudonymized data merged with personal data.

Facebook Plugin

I may use social plugins (“plugins”) from the social network “Facebook” (Facebook, Inc., 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, CA 94025 or Facebook Ireland Ltd., 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbor, Dublin 2, Ireland). The plugins can be recognized by one of the Facebook logos (white “f” on a blue background, the terms “Like”, “Like” or a “thumbs up” sign). The list and appearance of the Facebook social plugins can be found here:

https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/.

When you visit a page on this website that contains one of these plugins, your browser establishes a direct connection to Facebook servers. The content of the plugin is transmitted from Facebook directly to your browser, which integrates it into our site. I therefore have no influence on the amount of data that Facebook collects with this plugin. To the best of my knowledge, the scope is as follows:

Through these plugins, Facebook receives the information that you have accessed the corresponding page. If you are logged in to Facebook, Facebook can assign the visit to your Facebook account. If you interact with the plugin (e.g. press a like button or leave a comment), this information is transmitted from your browser to Facebook and stored there. If you are not a Facebook member, there is still the possibility that Facebook will collect and save your IP address. According to Facebook, only an anonymized IP address is stored in Austria.

For more information on the purpose and scope of data collection and processing by Facebook, as well as your rights and setting options to protect your privacy, please refer to Facebook’s data protection guidelines: https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/.

If you are a Facebook member and do not want Facebook to collect data from you via our offer and link it to your Facebook member data, you must log out of Facebook before visiting our website. Further settings and contradictions regarding the use of data for advertising purposes are possible as part of your Facebook profile settings: https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=ads.

Facebook Remarketing

In the sense of the legitimate interest to be able to address my visitors with offers that are in the area of interest that they have already expressed, I may use the remarketing function “Custom Audiences” of Facebook Inc. (“Facebook”). This function serves to present visitors to this website on Facebook with interest-based advertisements (“Facebook ads”). For this purpose, the remarketing tag from Facebook is implemented on this website. Via this tag, a direct connection to the Facebook servers is established when you visit the website. It is transmitted to the Facebook server that you have visited this website and Facebook assigns this information to your personal Facebook user account. For more information on Facebook’s collection and use of data, as well as your rights and options to protect your privacy, please see Facebook’s privacy policy at https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/. Alternatively, you can deactivate the remarketing function “Custom Audiences” at https://www.facebook.com/settings/?tab=ads#_=_. To do this, you must be logged in to Facebook.

Twitter

On this website I use elements (https://dev.twitter.com/web/overview) of the service “Twitter” (Twitter, Inc., 1355 Market Street, Suite 900, San Francisco, CA 94103 U.S.A), e.g. Buttons or embedded content. With the help of these elements it is possible e.g. Share a post or a page of our offer on Twitter or follow us on Twitter. Furthermore, individual tweets can possibly be integrated into my offer.

If you as a user call up a page of our offer with this content, a direct connection to the Twitter servers is established via your browser. The content of this element is transmitted from Twitter directly to your browser. We as the provider therefore have no influence on the amount of data that Twitter collects with the help of the website elements and we therefore inform you based on our current state of knowledge. Accordingly, only the user’s IP address and the URL of the website with the respective element are transmitted, and only for the purpose of displaying the corresponding element.

Further information can be found in Twitter’s data protection guidelines: http://twitter.com/privacy.

Instagram

On this website I use so-called social plugins (“plugins”) from the online service Instagram, which is used by Instagram Inc., Facebook Ireland Ltd.

4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbor, Dublin 2 Ireland (“Instagram”). The plugins are marked with an Instagram logo, for example in the form of an “Instagram camera”.

When you visit a page that contains such a plugin, your browser establishes a direct connection to the Instagram servers. The content of the plugin is transmitted from Instagram directly to your browser and integrated into the page. Through this integration, Instagram receives the information that your browser has accessed the corresponding page, even if you do not have an Instagram profile or are not logged in to Instagram. This information (including your IP address) is sent from your browser directly to an Instagram server in the USA and stored there.

If you are logged in to Instagram, Instagram can immediately assign your visit to our website to your Instagram account. If you interact with the plugins, for example by pressing the “Instagram camera” button, this information is also transmitted directly to an Instagram server and stored there. The information will also be published on your Instagram account and displayed to your contacts there.

The purpose and scope of the data collection and the further processing and use of the data by Instagram as well as your rights in this regard and setting options for protecting your privacy can be found in Instagram’s data protection information: https://help.instagram.com/155833707900388/.

If you do not want Instagram to assign the data collected via our website directly to your Instagram account, you must log out of Instagram before visiting our website. You can also completely prevent the loading of Instagram plugins with add-ons for your browser, e.g. B. with the script blocker “NoScript” (http://noscript.net/).

Your Rights

You have the right to receive information about your data stored by me at any time, to correct it, to delete it (within the scope of the legal provisions), to restrict its processing, or to revoke the use of your data. You also have the right to have your data transferred to third parties if this is technically possible and reasonable. You also have the right to object to automated decision-making, including profiling, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection authority if you consider this appropriate.

You providing your data is necessary for the processing an order that you made or receive a newsletter that you wish to receive. The use of the offer is not possible without your registration.

Data Security

I take data security seriously. That is why I only commission service providers who can guarantee an adequate level of protection for your personal data.

Encoding

This site is SSL certified. This means that all data that is transmitted when you use our website is encrypted. All common Internet browsers support this.
