When You Hate What You Wrote

Ever had the experience that while you write something you think it’s totally brilliant and when you get back to it the next day you read it and all of a sudden you think it sucks?

Well, happens to all of us.

Here are two possible ways to react to that:

  1. You punish yourself emotionally because you didn’t do it “right” and you don’t live up to your own standards
  2. You celebrate because you just found something to improve

Only one of them will make you a better writer. The other one will make you better at feeling like a failure.
