Emotional Stock Exchange

I’m not an investment expert but the way I understand the stock exchange is that what investors deal with there are not necessarily real values but the expectation of values.

The same happens with our emotions.

When we expect a bright future we’re happy and in good spirits.

If we expect a bleak future we’re not.

But those reactions are pure emotional reactions and “forget” about two things:

  1. The quality of the moment (whatever it might be) is the quality of the moment and it’s independent of however the future might look like.
  2. We don’t know if the future really will be the way we imagine. It’s a supposition that might become reality or not.

So?

The less you let yourself be emotionally affected by things that are mere suppositions and have nothing to do with the present moment, the more you will give inspiration a possibility to shine through.

You can worry about the future later. Right now you can create.
